On Monday (10/28/24), the BPS-Statistics of Nagekeo Regency held an Evaluation Meeting for the 2024 Integrated PODES with EPSS, which took place in the Aula Hotel Utama, Mbay, Nagekeo. Generally, the purpose of the Evaluation Meeting for the 2024 Integrated PODES with EPSS is to evaluate the PODES data collection process that has been ongoing in 2024 and to socialize and evaluate the EPSS results for the Nagekeo Regency Government. Podes is the only comprehensive regional data collection conducted by the . BPS. Podes data can be used by various parties in need. In line with the development of the times, the need for data and information at the regional level down to the smallest areas is increasingly diverse and urgent to be met.Podes is used for census preparation (one of which is the Economic Census 2026) and is utilized by many parties for development planning. Additionally, this evaluation aims to provide improvement suggestions and recommendations for the administration of sectoral statistics within the Nagekeo Regency Government. Based on the EPSS results, the Statistical Development Index (IPS) value of the Nagekeo Regency Government for the year 2024 is 2.67 with the predicate "Good." This value also places the Nagekeo Regency Government in the third-best rank in the East Nusa Tenggara Province. On this occasion, the Chief of BPS- Statistics of Nagekeo Regency also officially handed over the EPSS 2024 Results Report to the Acting Regent of Nagekeo, represented by the Assistant I for Government and People's Welfare, and awarded two Regional Offices/Agencies that represented the Nagekeo Regency Government in the EPSS 2024 assessment, namely the Regional Food Office and the Population and Civil Registration Office.
