Launching of the Statistics Corner of the National Institute of Flores (INF)

BPS-Statistics of Nagekeo Regency together with INF launched the Statistics Corner on December 18, 2024 at the INF Campus, Aeramo Village, Aesesa District, Nagekeo Regency. The launch of the Statistics Corner was inaugurated by the Acting Regent of Nagekeo, Herda Helmijaya, accompanied by the Chief of Statistics of Nagekeo Regency, Angela Wea, Rector of INF, Dr. Yohanes Freadyanus, S.Si, M.P, Head of Bank NTT Mbay Branch, Petrus Soba Lewar, Head of BNI Mbay Branch, Cornelia Kiik and witnessed by invitees consisting of BPS-Statistics of Nagekeo Regency employees, lecturers/academics, and INF students.

The Statistics Corner is a collaborative service between BPS and Universities in order to increase statistical literacy in the Higher Education environment as part of strengthening the National Statistics System (SSN). The objectives of the Statistics Corner include:

1. As a medium for statistical promotion;

2. As a medium for statistical consultation services;

3. Strengthening user-engagement between BPS and academics

4. Increasing statistical literacy;

5. Increasing the use of BPS statistical data.

The principles of the Statistics Corner are Collaboration, Synergy, and Benefit.

With the existence of the INF Statistics Corner, it is hoped that students can make the best use of existing services so that they can increase their capacity and knowledge related to statistics
