Abstract

The number of air transportation flights in August 2024 increased by 3.16 percent compared to July 2024 and decreased by 0.25 percent from August 2023.
The number of air transportation flights in August 2024 will be 3,557 flights, this number is divided into 1,779 departing flights and 1,778 arriving flights.
The airport with the largest aviation share is Eltari Airport, Kupang with a total share of 34.38 percent, and followed by Komodo Labuhan Bajo Airport, West Manggarai with a total share of 29.35 percent.
In August 2024, the number of air transportation passengers will be 287,460 people. This number decreased by 0.79 percent compared to July 2024, namely the number of air transportation passengers of 289,759 people, and increased by 7.75 percent compared to the number of air transportation passengers in August 2023, namely 266,785 people.
The number of air transport passengers is divided into departing passengers (139,307 people) and arriving passengers (148,153 people).
The number of sea freight shipping in August 2024 decreased by 20.79 percent compared to July 2024 and increased by 47.50 percent from August 2023.
The number of sea transportation passengers in August 2024 was 669,171 people, this number decreased by 26.02 percent compared to July 2024 and increased by 61.77 percent compared to August 2023.
