The Implementation of a Population Census is a mandate of Law no. 16 of 1997 which is carried out at least once in 10 years. The last Population Census carried out was the 2020 Population Census (SP2020) which was carried out through two stages, namely complete data collection carried out in 2020 and sample data collection in 2022 (Long Form SP2020). Sample data collection aims to collect data related to demographic parameters (birth, migration, and death), education, disability, employment, housing, and other important information.
