Chief of BPS-Statistics of Nagekeo Regency, Mrs. Angela Regina Maria Wea, S.ST, M.Si, attended the Nagekeo Regency DPRD "Banggar" Meeting on Wednesday, November 13 2024 in the Nagekeo Regency DPRD Meeting Room. In discussing the Draft General Budget Policy and Temporary Budget Ceiling Priorities (KUA-PPAS) for Fiscal Year 2025, Mrs. Angela explained regional statistical data, especially regarding poverty in Nagekeo Regency.
He explained the poverty data released by BPS, which consists of macro poverty data and micro poverty data. Macro poverty data includes indicators such as the number and percentage of poor people, the poverty line, the poverty depth and severity index, and the distribution of expenditure as measured through the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) every year. This data provides a comprehensive picture of the level of poverty in a region and its changing trends.
Meanwhile, micro poverty data includes more detailed information down to the individual or household level, which is collected through Social Protection Program Data Collection (PPLS) or Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS) in collaboration with relevant agencies. This data is used to identify beneficiaries of poverty alleviation programs more precisely.
With this explanation, it is hoped that the Nagekeo Regency DPRD can formulate budgets and policies that are more targeted, based on accurate data, to reduce poverty rates and improve the welfare of the people in Nagekeo Regency.
