September 2024 inflation Year on Year (y-on-y) Nusa Tenggara Province East by 1.07 percent

Abstract

In September 2024 there will be year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Nusa Tenggara Province East by 1.07 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.06. The highest inflation occurred in Kupang City at 2.17 percent with a CPI of 105.27 and the highest deflation occurred in South Central Timor Regency amounting to 1.32 percent with a CPI of 104.16.
September 2024 y-on-y inflation occurred due to the indicated price increase by the increase in the expenditure group index, namely: food and beverage groups and tobacco by 0.74 percent; clothing and footwear group of 1.05 percent; health group at 0.71 percent; transportation group of 1.62 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 0.19 percent; education group of 1.10 percent; food supply groups and drinks/restaurants by 3.25 percent; and the personal care and services group others amounted to 6.72 percent. Meanwhile, the expenditure group experienced decrease in index, namely: housing, water, electricity and fuel groups households by 0.11 percent; and the information, communications and services group finance amounted to 0.79 percent. Meanwhile, equipment, equipment, and routine household maintenance in September 2024 experienced changes are very small or close to zero.
There was deflation month to month (m-to-m) in East Nusa Tenggara Province for the period September 2024 of 0.03 percent. And there is also deflation year to date (y-to-d). East Nusa Tenggara Province in this period was 0.09 percent.
