FSVA 2024 Data Validation Meeting II

Thursday (09/05/24), Nagekeo Regency BPS attended the second data validation meeting in the context of preparing the 2024 Food Security and Vulnerability Atlas (FSVA) which was held at the Nagekeo Regency Regional Food Service Office.

FSVA is a thematic map that depicts geographic visualization of the results of data analysis of vulnerability indicators for food insecurity. FSVA is prepared using nine indicators that represent three aspects of food security, namely availability, affordability and utilization of food. FSVA provides recommendations to decision makers in formulating policies and intervention programs at both the central and regional levels by looking at the main indicators that trigger vulnerability to food insecurity.

This activity is focused on completing data validation related to the fairness and consistency of data over time which can affect the quality of the data analysis to be carried out
